When does school open, and when is pickup?
Doors open at 7:15 a.m.; students report to the cafeteria. Students arriving after 7:45 a.m. are late and must report to the office. Dismissal is at 3:30 p.m., and all students must be picked up by 3:45 p.m.
How do I report an absence?
Use Report an Absence on the website or call (772) 562-1963 to notify the office and give the reason. Send a written explanation when your child returns. Schedule appointments after 3:30 p.m. whenever possible.
More information →How do I change transportation or pick up my child early?
Call or notify the office before 2:45 p.m. about transportation changes; later changes cannot be guaranteed. For early pickup, report to the office and sign your child out. Staff may request identification. Keep the authorized pickup and emergency contact list current.
What should my child wear?
The school uniform uses a true red shirt and navy blue pants or a navy blue skirt, with black shoes and navy blue or black socks. Review the parent agreement for additional uniform and appearance expectations. Contact the office if you need help identifying the correct colors or clothing.
More information →When are meals served, and do they cost anything?
Student meals are provided at no cost. Breakfast is served from 7:15–8:30 a.m.; lunch is from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Food from the cafeteria must be eaten there. See Lunch for the current menu.
More information →How do I arrange school bus transportation?
Contact the office about eligibility, registration, assigned stops, and current routes. Students living within two miles of the school are not eligible for school bus transportation. School-choice students may use depot stops. Arrive at your assigned stop 10–15 minutes before pickup, and review the bus rules with your child.
More information →Where is after-school care, and how do I sign up?
Care is at Saint Peter’s Child Development Center, a separate off-site location. The cost is $10 per day per child. Complete the after-school care form, select the weekdays needed, enter a requested start date, and sign the acknowledgment. Contact the office to confirm the location details, hours, availability, and start arrangements before attendance.
More information →Do I complete one packet or separate forms for new enrollment?
Use Complete and sign online to fill out the entire admissions packet, upload supporting documents, sign, and submit everything together. Individual PDFs in Forms & Documents are for a missing sheet or an update requested by the office. Submitting a packet does not by itself confirm enrollment.
More information →How do I return an updated form or private record?
Call the Main Office at (772) 562-1963 for the approved delivery method. New families can upload records through the full online admissions packet. Do not send medical, custody, or other confidential student records through the general contact form. Tell the office if a required record is still being obtained.
More information →How do I contact my child’s teacher or visit the school?
Use the Faculty & Staff directory to identify the right person, then contact the Main Office to arrange communication or a conference. All visitors must report to the office and sign in before going to a classroom. Ask the office about current volunteer opportunities and procedures.
More information →Where can I find announcements and no-school days?
Family Updates in the Parent Portal contains current school notices and principal messages. The school calendar lists conference days, professional learning days, holidays, and breaks. Saint Peter’s follows its own school calendar.
